Meet Tiffany

Twenty years later. Same beach. Same belief.

A Note From Tiffany

If you've landed here, thank you. It means you're taking a moment to see what's behind the company name: the story, the person, and the meaning that brought this to life.

The friend in our story is real. And everything that has grown from that moment is, too.

I grew up in Southern California and still find comfort walking the beach, grateful every single time. I've been married to my husband, Kevin, for 25 years, and I want to take a moment to thank him for his support in building this company. He has shown up every time I needed him, and I don't take that for granted. We have two children who are now young adults; time moves fast. (That little boy in the photo is now 22 years old.) Family has always been at the center of my life. My sister and cousin are my closest friends, and years ago we chose to raise our kids together. Seven cousins, growing up side by side. It's one of the best choices we ever made for our families.

I share this because it's important to know who I am: someone who believes in showing up for the people you love, and in the quiet strength that comes from staying close, even when life pulls us in different directions.

I poured my whole heart into being a mom to my son and daughter, and I'd do it all again in a heartbeat. As they grew up and stepped into their own lives, I felt a pull to channel that same love into something that could reach beyond my own family something that might last, and maybe even leave a legacy.

Anchored in Ink became my answer.

Building this company has been one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. What moves me isn't the business itself; it's hearing how a simple journal filled with handwritten messages can ease a hard day, or how a loved one's words now live on, cherished and revisited by a family for years to come. Every story shared with me is a reminder of why this work matters, and I carry each one with deep gratitude.

If all of this ended tomorrow, I'd still feel at peace, knowing this work has reached people in ways that truly matter. Even if it had helped just one person feel less alone, that would be enough. That's been the heart behind everything from the start.

What keeps me going is the belief that my friend's struggle planted the seed for something meaningful. I never set out to create Anchored in Ink; it grew out of love, from the helplessness of wanting to support someone I cared about, and from seeing how handwritten words can transform when they're given a lasting place to live.

I often think about the hardest moments in my own life, the times I would have given anything to open a journal and find the words of the people who loved me. I wish I'd made a journal for each of my children when they were born, filled with messages from everyone who loved them before they could understand what that love meant. Some of those people are gone now. That longing stays with me, fueling the care and intention behind every part of this work.

We all move through seasons when connection is everything. My hope is that what we've created here can bring you comfort too. I love building this company and dreaming up new ways for people to capture and share the words that matter most. As long as there's a need, and I believe there always will be, we'll keep going.

If you ever want to reach out about a kit, a custom order, or to share your story, please do. Those messages mean more than you know.

Anchored in Ink began because one person needed to know she wasn't alone. The truth is, so many of us do, and wherever life finds you right now, I hope you know that too. There is always room for your words and your story here.

Thank you for being here.

With gratitude,
Tiffany Liebeck
