It Started With a Friend

Someone we loved was facing a difficult season and needed space. We wanted to honor that while still showing up for her in a gentle, supportive way. So we sent her a journal and invited a small circle of women to write heartfelt messages on stationery stickers, each filled with encouragement and love.

Each message was mailed to her so she could press each message into her journal, creating a safe place where support could gather, waiting for her whenever she was ready. No timeline. No pressure. Just words, anchored where she could always find them.

That journal became her anchor, something she returned to on hard days and quiet ones. Whenever she needed a reminder that she wasn’t alone, it was there, full of the people who loved her, right where she could find them.

The women who wrote her messages began asking for their own kits for friends, family, and others in their lives who needed them. So we made more. Over time, we kept hearing the same thing: these words were changing people. The impact was real, and the need was undeniable.

So we built something around that experience: something simple yet unlike anything else out there.

A caring friend writes a meaningful message on a stationery sticker, something personal, supportive, or encouraging. They send it to you by mail, by hand, or through someone who is collecting the stickers on your behalf. When you receive it, you place it directly on a journal page, where it stays. Not lost. Not forgotten. Right there, every time you open your journal.

Page by page, the journal fills up. Message by message, person by person. A growing collection of everyone who showed up for you, in their own words and handwriting, all in one place.

We now offer a variety of kits, each thoughtfully designed for a specific moment and including step-by-step instructions so getting started always feels easy and supported. We believe showing up matters in hard seasons and in joyful ones, at milestones and on ordinary Tuesdays. And we’ve seen, again and again, that it’s often the smallest words, the ones written quietly without fanfare, that people carry with them the longest.

We craft everything we create with that in mind: to help people connect more intentionally, give meaningful words a permanent place to land, and ensure the things that matter most are never scattered, forgotten, or lost.

Because the right words are worth keeping.
